Art meets the garden - use colors like nature does!

Outdoor painting checklist – Ensure a successful result

Frenchic Al Fresco -paint series is developed for outdoor use – it does not peel, crack, or fade. Al Fresco paints contain UV protection and mold inhibitor. Paint such furniture that you can store protected from the weather during winter.

A few tips ensure the best possible result:

1. Check the weather forecast

You need at least48 hours of dry weather after painting. A rainy surprise can ruin the work and late summer dew can be heavy.

2. Prepare the surface carefully

Wood, terracotta, and natural stone absorb moisture – make sure they are   completely dry before painting. A rule of thumb could be: washing the surface to be painted and painting on consecutive days.

3. Paint in the shade

Direct sunlight can dry the paint too quickly and weaken the final result. Protect the project with shade or a parasol.

4. Protect the environment and yourself

Even though we are outside, protective covers and painting clothes are still necessary. Al Fresco paint is very durable once dry – even splashes do not come off easily.
