How to paint successfully – step by step

Painting with lime paint is not complicated, but a few simple steps ensure the best possible result:

• Clean the surface thoroughly. Use, for example, Sugar Soap cleaner to remove dirt, grease, and dust. Paint adhesion depends on how clean the surface is.

• Light sanding. Especially on smooth or glossy surfaces, light roughening improves paint adhesion.

• Stir the paint before use. Careful mixing ensures the correct shade and even distribution of important protective agents. 

• Paint as usual and follow the drying times between coats. Usually, two coats are enough for full coverage. Let the first coat dry properly before applying the next. Frenchic paints do not need thinning.
