Could your dream kitchen look like this?!
'Life is the same, we make the difference' ❤
In terms of well-being, it is important that the home looks like your own. You can get your own look when you do it yourself: repaint the old and faded to make it beautiful again. The costs and effort are ridiculously low compared to a major kitchen renovation.
Make your own luxury - the home and kitchen of your dreams.
"I've been using Frenchic paints for many years ♥️": says Henna.
"In the end, the new color for the kitchen was selected unexpectedly and easily, when I saw this new color in the @frenchicpaintfinland feed, a wonderful deep dark green called Stirling . This could be an intermediate form of the already classic greens; Victory Lane and Black Forest = a pretty perfect green!"
"At the same time, I wanted to slightly modify the shelf section in relation to the kitchen cabinets.
Based on the wallpaper coming to the kitchen, I chose Honeycombe from the Trim Paint series as the color for the inside of the shelf.
Tips for making henna:
- We completely removed the white film from the MDF board. The film came off very easily only with the help of a hair dryer. (this way you save on washing and sanding the doors)
- The MDF board is porous, so it must be sealed/coated with a finishing coat (or Tuff top coat) before painting. Note, the bare MDF board should not be sanded or washed.
- I painted the doors first with Frenchic Paint's own oval brush twice and one more time, the last layer with Two Fussy Blokes roller (5mm)
- When the last coat of paint had dried for at least 48 hours or more, I finished the surface with Tuff Top Coat to increase durability (in my experience, this was best applied with a foam roller)
- Accessories: paints, sanding sponge, brush, roller and finishing coating.
